IKEV2 XR500

I currently have the XR500 and I was wondering if the Hybrid VPN feature will ever support IKEV2 VPN connections as an alternative. Would it be pushed out as a firmware update or is it hardware related? It's not a super important feature for me, but I'm just curious as I know IKEV2 offers higher speeds than Open VPN. Will the next Net Duma router (R3 maybe) support IKEV2?

It's software and it is possible we'll implement that in future. At the moment we're looking at potentially having wireguard implemented.
