How have you set up the LAN portion of the IPv6 settings? Not really sure what this means.
The real question is why does it work with the XR 500 and not the XR1000? If I use the exact same settings.
- Netduma-FraserFeb 10, 2021NetDuma PartnerAt the bottom of the IPv6 page there are options on how you want to set up for the LAN network. That is odd so it's looking like a bug, do you have access to this page? https://community.netgear.com/t5/Nighthawk-Pro-Gaming-Beta/bd-p/en-home-beta-firmware-npg

I do not have access to that page. It was denied. Can you send a pic of what exactly it is supposed to look like.
- Netduma-FraserFeb 11, 2021NetDuma PartnerSorry about that, I sent the wrong link, that was for the 700 not the 1000. I have sent you a PM instead.

Could not open.
- Netduma-FraserFeb 11, 2021NetDuma PartnerYou need to access the interface and upload it there.

Ok so here is what I did.
1. Uploaded succesfully
2. factory reset
3. The upload was still on the router
4. Tried Auto detect, auto config and DHCP.
5. DHCP is showing.
6. On xbox it is still showing only IPV4 nat open.
Old XR500 used DHCP and xbox did show IPV6
- Netduma-FraserFeb 12, 2021NetDuma PartnerWhat do you mean the upload was still on the router? As in you uploaded the file, you clicked upgrade, waited for it to complete then once it had been done you did a factory reset and confirmed it had upgraded successfully?

Correct

You may need to remove the Xbox from device manager then re-add it and re-configure network settings on the xbox

Tried that two ways. Wired and wireless. Still no joy.
- Netduma-FraserFeb 12, 2021NetDuma PartnerDo other devices get an IPv6 address successfully?
- jeremyg237Feb 12, 2021Luminary
no. We use the IPV6 test online.
- Netduma-FraserFeb 12, 2021NetDuma PartnerOkay I'll get an NG lead to take a look at this.

All,Decided to return item. With IPV4 only being supported on this item it was slowing internet as well as not working with certaian smart apps etc on the TV. Thank you so much for your time and effort in trying to remedy this. I have gotten no email, phone call etc from Netgear about this and I want to make sure I get my money back before time runs out. Thanks again Netduma team.

- NikciDApr 15, 2021TutorWould toy please share that link with me as well? As I am having the same problem. I think it's a design problem, probably.
- Netduma-FraserApr 15, 2021NetDuma PartnerSwitch to DHCP specifically, does it work properly then?
