Re: Lost traffic prioritization after update xr500
micro disconnections, I noticed it in steam, thought steam server ;;;; but meanwhile my wife cannot do a home office so the disconnections occur every 5 minutes. after reset it works again for two days without reservations, but you can see that in the log of previous posts

Re: Lost traffic prioritization after update xr500
Please keep your updates to this thread.
So you're receiving a new problem now, that's not a disconnection?
What did you do in the interface when you noticed this issue? Can you reproduce it every time?

Re: Lost traffic prioritization after update xr500
No, the disconnects were there again every 30 seconds, then I logged in via DumaOS, the browser, then it no longer reacts, had to turn the power off 3 times, where I then waited over 1 minute for the last power off then I started the router. After the finished boat and after I had a white light again, I logged in again, then comb this screen !!!!!!! So it is an additional problem, not a new one, so the router works again for two days after a reset without loss of connection !!!!!!

Re: Lost traffic prioritization after update xr500
@paul5680 To install a new firmware, you can follow this guide: https://kb.netgear.com/23442/How-do-I-update-the-firmware-on-my-NETGEAR-router-with-a-web-browser
Please first downgrade to this firmware: https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/XR500/XR500-V2.3.2.114.zip
Then re-upgrade to the new one afterwards.

Re: Lost traffic prioritization after update xr500
thx , search self for the error and now i found it
SecurityError: Permission denied to access property "dispatchEvent" on cross-origin object - url: moz-extension://f985b107-bcb9-45d4-95c4-b1bb39443725/js/inject.js - line: 65 - column: 0 - error: SecurityError: Permission denied to access property "dispatchEvent" on cross-origin object
https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/google-consent/
and i fix the ports betwin 2-49 now no disconnects, But it is not a permanent solution, so we work even faster with home office that we USERS and those who push the money down your throat are also satisfied.
the whole problem began with the 130FW where every few hours people open thread where they disconnects
Weird, is not it ?

Re: Lost traffic prioritization after update xr500
Where did you get this error initially? I'm not sure I understand.
We get that reserving IPs is not a permanent fix, it's just a workaround until the DHCP error is resolved.
If you have any further questions, please do let us know.
