MACBOOK PRO Not Showing in Device Manager DumaOS
Hi,
All of my other nodes on the network appear fine, phones, computers, gaming consoles etc. My Macbook does not. The only thing that is different about my Macbook is that it has a VPN client on it. Would that cause me to not be able to see it as a node on the network? It still has to pass through my Nighthawk/Modem though right? Any work around?
Thanks

Hi carchd, do you see any nameless/unnamed devices on the Device Manager? If so then that is very likely the Macbook, check the Macbooks IP address or MAC address and then check that again the Device Manager device. Then you can rename it.
If you don't have that at all, turn off the VPN on the Macbook do you then see it on the Device Manager?

Can you use it via WiFi? I'd highly recommend calling Netgear as they should be able to resolve it quickly.
