In my experience the modem mode on the hub was a little unstable, causing high pings etc, DMZ was more stable. Having it as stable as possible for QoS to then control will be better. It's safe, the XR has its own firewall.
Thanks again. Ok, let me double check..so change my hub back to router mode, paste the XR WAN IP in the DMZ on the hub and leave it like that. I dont change my hub back to Modem mode?
