Netgear xr500 ipv4 seemingly stops working randomly
Heyo, I bought my XR500 a good while ago, but the last few months I've had a really annoying issue where the IPv4 portion of the network, seemingly just dies, and doesn't come back until I reboot the...
Basically when it happens, I can't use anything that is IPv4 only, for example sites like Reddit and Google, which have IPv6 addresses, I can access. But basically everything else like discord and duckduckgo, are inaccessible.
I confirmed this by checking test-ipv6.com, where it would show IPv6 address but no IPv4 address on all my devices, and doing a ping to google DNS would work but not much else.
It could be my ISP, but why I don't think so is because the issue gets resolved when I reboot the router.
Okay that's interesting, could you reproduce the issue then provide the logs from the System Information page please?
I'm not sure how to reproduce the issue to be honest, from what I know it just happens randomly.
I can provide my full log or wait for it happen again?- Okay no worries, if you could wait for it to happen again then grab the logs and let us know the time it happened roughly so we can match that with the logs that would be really helpful
It took a while but it has happened again, this time it showed the internet LED as orange, I re plugged the ethernet cable which provides internet but no luck. Only a reboot fixed it.
Log is under, LAN access remote is most likely my friends connecting to my minecraft server. As soon as I login is when it has died.
