Thanks
No, it does not fix the DHCP, hopefully in the next firmware update.

Re: New - XR450/XR500 Firmware Version 2.3.2.130 Released
Have you tried the solution of changing the DHCP address pool size and reserving IPs outside of this pool? That appears to be the solution for the majority of users that have this issue.

Re: New - XR450/XR500 Firmware Version 2.3.2.130 Released
After going to the .120 beta, factory resetting, upgrading to .130, factory resetting, everything seems to be working except for traffic prioritization. When I go into QOS, i just get a pop-up notification saying that 'Device is not found' and the traffic prioritization never populates, just stays in the loading state.

Actually, it's not working even when I factory reset on .120.

Re: New - XR450/XR500 Firmware Version 2.3.2.130 Released
What I figured out that I needed to do was revert back to the system provided .114 firmware update, then factory reset, then update right to firmware .130 and it seems to work fine now. I haven't factory reset due to the known issues so I will just backup my settings and wait for the next firmeware update.

Re: New - XR450/XR500 Firmware Version 2.3.2.130 Released
Hello. My XR500 has been resetting the internet connection a few times a day past few months. I've been reading these before and I ended up last month upgrading to this version. I then factory reset it and it worked for about a month. As of yesterday it started resetting again for whatever reason randomly. The XR500 resets, gives amber lights, and turns back on. Yesterday I tried fixing the DHCP with .2-.49 and reserved the clients I have to those IPs, it did not work. I'm still getting these scripts in the logs. I really need help in resolving this issue, as these interruptions are extremely frustrating and I don't know where else to go.

Re: New - XR450/XR500 Firmware Version 2.3.2.130 Released
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Try setting the IP address range at .100 to .200.
My Setup | ISP SparkLight | Internet Cable 1000↓/50↑ CAX80 Modem Mode | Wifi Router RBKE963 and RBE973 | Switches NG GS105/8, GS308v3, GS110MX and XS505M | Additional NG HW: C7800/CAX30/CAX80/CM1100/CM1200/CM2000, Orbi: CBK752, RBK50, RBK853, RBK752, RBK953, SXK30 | NightHawk: MK63, MK93S, R7000, R7800, R7960P, R8000, RAXE500, RAX120v2, RAX50v2, XR450/500/700/1000,

Re: New - XR450/XR500 Firmware Version 2.3.2.130 Released
I don't have a ISP issued cable modem. It's a NETGEAR CM1000. Are you saying to set the starting IP address and the ending IP address to .2-.49 or .100-.200 under the LAN setup? My issues seem to be about the same as everyone else, something wrong in the firmware. I've had this router for a few years now and it's worked perfectly up until this year around these updates.

Re: New - XR450/XR500 Firmware Version 2.3.2.130 Released
Please try setting up .100 to .200 and see if this helps any.
You might do a full clean factory reset and setup from scratch with ALL devices turned OFF, accept 1 wired PC to setup the router. I would power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON as well. Once you setup the router and change the IP address pool size, save settings and reboot the router, then turn ON your devices and let them connect.

Re: New - XR450/XR500 Firmware Version 2.3.2.130 Released
Hi all... any update on when we can expect to get an updated firmware from netgear that fixes these issues regarding DHCP/router dropouts?
Also would appreciate if anybody could explain how to revert the software back to the original software provided with the router or an earlier version before these issues started occuring and provide a link to it please.
Been unable to use my XR500 these past couple of months.
Thanks 🙂

Re: New - XR450/XR500 Firmware Version 2.3.2.130 Released
Download the relevant firmware from the support site then downgrade in the way that you upgrade by uploading the file .56 may work but do keep in mind you will lose security updates by downgrading.

Re: New - XR450/XR500 Firmware Version 2.3.2.130 Released
We're currently working on implementing the latest DumaOS improvements and additions into the XR range, that will then go through our internal testing once done and then be sent to NETGEAR for their testing. I don't have an ETA as to when this might be as it depends how well it does through testing. The latest improvements include a series of major patches and fixes from our side which may help with DHCP issues, though I don't know for sure as it hasn't been through testing.

Re: New - XR450/XR500 Firmware Version 2.3.2.130 Released
Hello. I had to create a new account because I forgot the old email, whatever not important. So I've done the "fix" by assigning all of the end users on the router and giving them an IP address outside of the .2-.49 window and reserved those. It's been working for about a month. My old username was techie12, and now as you can see, it's been exactly a month or so. I've done no changes since that fixed my issue, but now today it's back at it and it's reset 3 times already today.
Any other temp fixes to help me out?
