Next firmwar xr 500
I would just like to know when the new firmware for the xr 500 will be released and if there will be a resolution of the dhcp bug and if there will be ping assist functionality

Netgear are working on that issue so should be included in the next version, your current version will have Ping Assist, it has been available for awhile.

Oh sorry I meant the auto setup of the congestion control for optimise my fiber connection not ping assist sorry
what would you recommend for the congestion control for a 950/800 connection

Ah yes that will be in the next version I believe. We always recommend 70% as a starting point for both download/upload and then if you continue to have local congestion then experiment with the values until you find what works best for you.
