Nighthawk XR1000 intermittent drops wifi
Well where to start, so set was iffy at best pages took a long time to load. Upgraded to 1gb up/down and had to restart router. Did that and router took about 10 minutes to comeback online. Changed se...
- Are you using Armor? If so disable that as we've seen that cause some issues in the past. In LAN Settings, set static/reserved IPs for the devices, apply, reboot from the interface, wait 2 minutes before accessing/using the internet and then see if it appears to be more stable.

Do I shut off armor and things were going well. Then all 5ghz and 2.4 dropped. So the cat5 looks a little shabby from the box on the outside of house to modem. I am going to rewire to cat6 and hope all will be fixed. Thank you. Will let y'all know.
