Nighthawk XR1000 setup/ packetloss and diconnection when gaming
Hi,
I just recently purchuased a Nighthawk XR1000 Gaming router. I have it plugged into my modem. Is there a specific way to have these setup in the settings to optimise gaming? When i play online games ive been getting high packetloss and start lagging around eventually lagging out of the game and getting disconnected. Any ideas on how to stop this as or fix this as im really new to all this and dont know a hell of alot about this sort of stuff. Thanks

Re: Nighthawk XR1000 setup/ packetloss and diconnection when gaming
Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the NightHawk Gaming Router products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with NH gaming router products and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this router forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

Please use this link to the main forum product list to review and choose where to make your posts.

Thank you.

Hey, the first thing I'd suggest you do is check out our optimal settings guides. These walk you through how to setup each feature of DumaOS for your network and your needs.
