Nighthawk XR500 Internet speed and lan port issues.

I have just purchased the Netgear Nighthawk XR500 router for gaming on my Playstation 4 Pro. I bought this router with the purpose of optimizing my home network for when i play Call of Duty....
Hi there - we will do our best to help you on our Netduma forum, but I think the funamental problem here is you're not getting Internet when directly connecting to your modem and this is not somethin we are as good at troubleshooting as it's not DumaOS related.
So the fact your TP Link router can connect properly and your XR500 cannot is the root cause of the problem. Are you just using standard DHCP to connect? Or do you need PPPoE?
