Nighthawk Xr 500
Hi
Lg & Danke

Re: Nighthawk Xr 500
It's hard to understand the translation exactly, could you clarify? You're trying to connect to the Xbox app on your phone but it doesn't work is that correct? Are both the Xbox and the phone connected to the XR500?

Which WiFi are you connected to? Try 2.4GHz. Also put your Xbox IP into DMZ in WAN Setup.

Turn of the cellular data network on your phone and just have it connected to the wifi, it may be getting confused, does it work then?

Re: Nighthawk Xr 500
Very strange, I haven't heard of this issue. Are both devices 100% connected to the XR500? Disable NAT ALG in WAN Settings and try please

Yes... all devices are conecctet to the 2.4g Network... only the Xbox is on a cable connectet to the Router
And also After Turn off the ALG it still Not work 😕
If it Not gonna work, it May a Garbage Router.
Always the same with netgear... i‘m sick of it .😤

If you connect the devices directly to your modem, does the issue continue?

Re: Nighthawk Xr 500
Okay so it can work that's great. Now connect the Xbox wired to the XR500 and keep the phone on the same XR500 wifi. Set a static/reserved IP address for both devices in the XR500 LAN Settings. Then reboot the router, does it work then? Also untick Disable IGMP Proxying just in case in WAN Settings.

Re: Nighthawk Xr 500
Use default RIP settings on the XR router. Nothing different as it's not needed in a home setting.
Did you power OFF the xbox before connecting the LAN cable from the XR router to the back of the xbox?
You sure your using a good working qualtiy LAN cable? CAT6 is recommended.

Re: Nighthawk Xr 500
I know with some things like that for example a smart TV both devices have to be connected to the exact same network e.g. 5GHz wifi not 5 & 2.4GHz so I would assume this is that same scenario but I don't know why they restrict it like that.
