Hi there,
If anyone is able to offer some suggestions, when using OpenVPN software on a client machine I get nearly proper speeds 90Mbps, when using the OpenVPN profile on the XR500 the max speeds I can seem to get are 20Mbps.
Would there be any reason for this? Given it only happens when going through the router.
Thanks
Dan

Hi Dan, yes the VPN will be slower when using it through the router. However, due to the Hybrid nature of the VPN you can apply the VPN directly to certain applications/services so that other applications/services on your devices are not behind the VPN and therefore don't get slowed down. So if you're just wanting to VPN a game for example then you can do that with plenty of bandwidth to spare and the rest of the PC can use high bandwidth activities etc.
