Opening Nat: Port Forwarding Win10 Client Port Vs Duma OS's UPnP
I came from an much older router were I had to port forward win10 client port in order to get UPnP to be enabled 24/7. Not sure if that was ever right or not but it worked. Any hoot, I released when I did the same with the XR450 I noticed the following:
1. When you port forward Win10's Client Port it disappears from Advance Settings > UPnP
2. When you port forward Win10's Client Port it doesn't open UPnP when I check Netsh interface teredo>show state
3. Games seem to show signs of lack of port forwarding, etc. when done this way.
Any advice on making sure that XR450 is in "sync" with win10's client port if you want to make sure UPnP?
There is still, after all this time, running debate that a restricted or moderate Nat type from Xbox Networking (Win10) Settings > Gaming > Xbox Networking has an effect on non UWP games. But that's a topic for another discussion. I honestly don't know if that's true or not.
But any help is appreciated on this 2 part post.
