PC XR500 Geo-filter not working

Hi, I connected it yesterday to the modem, and it basically installed itself. The only problem I got during the installation was a failed speedtest, but I acepted the suggested speeds and moved on. I got internet/wi-fi working in a matter of minutes by just chosing Next, Next, Next during the installation.

I then started Fortnite game (ON PC), and I noticed no changes on the Geo-Filter map, Auto-Ping tab, and Traffic Prioritization Information.

I have Anti-Bufferbloat set at 70% both lines and "When High Priority Traffic Detected" option checked.

Can anyone help me fix this issue?

Thank you

Change your PC to a console device type (PS or Xbox) in the Device Manager and then add it to the Geo-Filter. I would also suggest having a look through our optimal settings guides to get a feel for how the router works: http://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/folders/16000090646

Hosts will only appear when you're actually trying to load into a match they won't show any other time, does that explain what you're seeing?

Re: PC XR500 Geo-filter not working

Just to make sure, i'll run through all of the steps so far to make sure it's not configuration issue:

  1. Remove all devices from Geo-Filter
  2. Go to Device Manager, find your PC
  3. Click the PC, in the side menu, change device type to Xbox, press SAVE
  4. Return to Geo-Filter, add your PC again
  5. Now try playing Fortnite and see what happens
