Probelm with XR500 and IPTV

Hello, there, I`ve a problem with my router. I have the neweset firmware installed. The problem is, that it takes sometimes 10 seconds to open the IPTV channel. If the Set-Top-Box is connected with my modem directly, it takes 1 second. What is the problem? How can I solve this?

Is that with QoS still disabled? Could you toggle IGMP Proxying and SIP ALG in WAN Settings and try again please?

The problem is still there. I can't belive that. With a much more cheaper TP Link WDR3600 this problem was not there.

You don't need to restart the router after changing settings, how are you rebooting as well as depending on how it may be undoing your changes.

Make a rule in Traffic Controller to allow ALL traffic to it and then test. What is the model/service for the IPTV?

Not sure since I don't have an XR500 but on the other nighthawks, you can configure vlan settings for iptv.

I did it, but the same problem...

If I switch form one IPTV Channel to another, than there is no problem, only from a channe like ARD oder ZDF to a channel from IPTV.

Set a Traffic Prioritization rule for the box, source 1-65535 / destination 1-65535 / protocol TCP/UDP and that will fast track it, see if it works faster then please

'I did a rule für the set top box with port 1 - 65535 (source and destination) and aI allowed verything. I test it now.

You can try that - it depends what the rule you tried before was but I meant for Traffic Prioritization on the QoS page

Oh, sorry,  test it now.

The rule in itsel it works (but i the false option), i blocked all, than the stb couldn`t go online.

Edit: Shall I "normal", "Video" or "game" choose? Apply to WAN?

You wouldn't do block you would do allow all, try that instead.

To test whether DumaOS is doing it, switch the router mode in settings to AP mode then check please
