R8500 DHCP not working
My R8500 DHCP is being ignored, dhcp requests are beng sent to the cable modem (subnet 192.168.15.xxx)
I ihave tried disabled and RIP_1 for the DCKP protocol type.
RIP Direction is set to Both (any other setting results in no internet) .
My guess is the router is sending dhcp requests to the cable modem (even if it responding).
Disturbingly devices that get DHCP from the cable modem don't show as connected devices even if directly connected to the R8500
R8500
Firmware Version
V1.0.2.130
Apply Cancel
R8500
I
P Address 10.0.0.1
IP Subnet Mask 10.0.0.0
RIP Direction Both RIP Version Disabled or RIP_1 only recent change is added allow internet ping (new ISP requires the setting to configure Router).
