Router Not Detecting Internet
Hello,
I am using my router in my office. We have a VOIP system that the internet originally comes through. It then goes through a netgear swtich to our offices. In one of my offices, I have the router connected. I have checked all the switches in the and connections in the back.
When I test my internet speed it does come back saying there is a 100mb/s upload and download speed (which I am paying for)
However on the app and when I try and use the interenet on my phone or tablets, it says i am not connected to the internet. It also asked me to log into a website when i go.
for instance went to nypost.com it says
that I have to log in and that my password will be sent unencrypted.
anybody have experience connecting routers through work systems with a VOIP. The device is an edgewater device.
thank you

Re: Router Not Detecting Internet
Are you running your R7800 in router mode?
if so, you're probably in a double-nat because something is routing on your network. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
Try switching the R7800 to AP mode. (access point).
