Traffic Meter on XR500 Only Allows 6 Digits
Hey All,
I just signed up with Cablelynx here in Texas and they have a 2 TB datacap. We also have Disney+ and it can stream at 4K. I'd rather not implement device-level data limits because we stream from game consoles and updates/games would take a long time to download at 3 Mbps limited rates. I decided it would work better to initiate a network-wide data cap per month. However, when I go to enter the required number (was going to set it at 2000000 Mbytes) I can only enter 6 characters, not the required 7 in the traffic meter limit blank.
Is there a way to fix this?

I would contact NG support about this, something they may have not considered.
You can try this yourself. Just login with eg telnet and issue this one-liner command:
Code:
sed -i "s#^exit 0#sed -i 's/\>999999\)/\>999999999\)/g' /www/traffic.js \&\nexit 0#" /etc/rc.local
If this doesnt' work, you'll need to ask NG to look into this.
