Unauthorised xr500

I tried to login on the router via routerlogin.net and without giving me any time to type my password it automatically loads this screen.

Can you please help me fix this?

Re: Unauthorised xr500

Wire connect a PC to the router and factory reset the router using the back push pin button for 15 seconds.  Wait for the router to ready, then log in to 192.168.1.1 using a web browser and walk thru the setup wizard. This time write down all important information for safe keeping later on.

It says I have an ad blocker, but I don’t even have one installed. Don’t really understand.

Re: Unauthorised xr500

I’m using Chrome Beta (64 bit). I am also using Kaspersky Anti Virus. Could that be interfering with the page having these errors?

Temporarily disable Kaspersky and see.

Does other browsers work?

It works in Microsoft Edge but not Chrome.

Re: Unauthorised xr500

Was Chrome updated recently? Seen other users having problems with Chrome and it now working well in recent days. Seems to be a Google issue.

Re: Unauthorised xr500

As you're using a beta there may be issues, use a stable version of Chrome and it should be fine.

Re: Unauthorised xr500

Could you use an incognito window on stable Chrome please and see if that works? It seems strange Chrome wouldn't work when it is our recommended browser, I would expect Edge to be the likely candidate if it didn't work.

Re: Unauthorised xr500

Nope nothing. Don’t understand unless it’s a glitch with my particular router.

Re: Unauthorised xr500

Does it happen when trying to access via the LAN IP & routerlogin.net? Are you trying to access using HTTPS?
