So now that you've reinstalled your isp gear, you're speeds are the same as they were on the netgear?
Its not the >200mbps that you were reporting?
Then I'd be looking at your isp's line and modem.
- KyleP6912Apr 21, 2020AspirantWhen I use just the modem from my isp I get the speeds I’m supposed 200+ up and down however when I hook the XR500 up I’m only getting 10 down but 200+ upload. I’m hooking the XR500 into the modem instead of the ont

If its a combo device, try putting the netgear in AP Mode. That way you're not in a double nat

yes but you only want 1 router running in router mode on the network. these are your options.
1. leave the combo device in router mode and run the netgear in AP mode.
2. place the combo device in modem only/bridge mode. not all devices implement this properly.
- KyleP6912Apr 21, 2020AspirantAh ok I’m gonna try getting into contact with my isp to see about putting my modem in bridge mode

This can sometimes bring back the speeds when the router is new to the setup.
