Wired Connection Speed Comparison between two different routers

My apologies if this has been covered. On paper, comparing the XR500 vs XR700 i see the differene in wifi speed and the XR700 definately outshines in terms of speed. but my question is, for PS4 console gaming, using wired connection will there be any difference? My assumption is that there won't but since the XR700 has more processing power I wanted to know if that makes a difference for wired connection speed.

I currently have a R700 (1900) and I don't want to upgrade if not necassary.

Any input would greatly appreciated.
