Wireless Frequently Disconnects,cable works.

So i have bought a new XR500. I went through hell to setup the PPOE but it worked via cable. Now when i played ps4 i noticed that the wifi was diconnecting, not once, not twitce but more times for 1-2 minutes, and then it goes back up without me doing anything.

I have the 2.4 and 5 ghz bands separated , different names etc. Why is this happening? is it defective? i have 0.40 firmware but i am scared to upgrade cuz more things can screw up. Any suggestions, ideas?

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

What happens if you enable Smart Connect and Beamforming and be sure WMM is enabled as well.

Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

What is the distance between the XR router and the PS console?

Does the PS console connect with a wired LAN cable?

Have you tried the .56 firmware and had issues? - Is that why you're on an old firmware? Is it just the PS4 that disconnects from WiFi or other devices as well? Is it connected via 2.4 or 5GHz? Have you tried both and experienced the issue both times?
