Yes it set to always also tried set manually also auto setup...my download caps sometimes but upload doesnt at all i have tried speedtest.net and nperf tried factory reset updated latest formware i use VLAN id to connect and i have not tried DMZ i dont feel comfortable doing it incase i dont disable it properly but i dont see why it would need DMZ if it shows open on tplink without DMZ...also why do i get bufferbloat with nighthawk but none with tplink even tho my speeds are not capped on tplink...the only thing i noticed is on nighthawk i get extra 40mb on download/upload

VLAN is likely the reason the upload isn't working properly, that's something we're aware of. If you have the TP handle VLAN, then connect the XR to it and put the XR in the TP DMZ then upload will work and that should resolve the bufferbloat as well, maybe even the speed.
- Farhad47Apr 22, 2022AspirantThis might sound dumb but how do i connect XR to TP just ethernet port to ethernet? Or ethernet to the internet port? Should i remove the vlan id from nighthawk? Also how do i do this 'put the XR in the TP DMZ' is it the mac address?
- Netduma-FraserApr 22, 2022NetDuma PartnerBasically yes, the TP would connect to your modem so modem LAN port to TP internet port. Then TP LAN port to XR internet port. Then setup VLAN on the TP and verify you get internet then remove VLAN on the XR.
It depends how the TP does the DMZ, they may very well use the MAC address or use an IP address, in which case you can copy the WAN IP from the XR System Information page and put that in the TP DMZ.
DMZ is usually found in LAN, Security or Firewall settings
