XR1000 V2 NetDuma Firmware Not Updating/Showing Correctly

I recieved this router yesterday and I have already had to hard reset it to get my wired devices to appear under device manager.

Now when I'm logged into the router via web browser on my PC, it constantly says there is a new update.

But at the of the page it shows XR1000V2 1.1.0.16_2.1.25 (See below)

Is my router up to date? and If so why does it keep prompting me to update?

So far the experience has been far from ideal, the UI is very buggy at times and can be extremely slow.

Thanks

Also no matter how I tweak the QOS settings, I keep getting massive underload ping spikes for downloads. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

You're on the latest firmware so you can ignore that. Are you using Armor or connecting to the interface using HTTPS?

Have you got Congestion Control set to Always?

Thanks for the response.

Armour is disabled as I have no intention of paying for it after the trial. And yes CC is set to always on.

How do I check the http/https

It just shows the ip/desktop, etc in the browser.

We're still improving the Connection Benchmark results so it's probable it's not as bad as it looks. Also if you have Congestion Control active at all that will eliminate bufferbloat so wouldn't be as bad as shown.

Use http://192.168.1.1 or http://routerlogin.net specifically to access

Ok then. When is it likely to be fit for purpose? As I’ve seen over comments dating back some time stating it’s being worked on.

With respect to the QOS I’ve left them at 70% for each, but is there a limit to what I should set the application percentage to? So for example gaming is 40%, is that too high? Could that be impacting other areas as performance on my phone for example is terrible at times with pages refusing to load. If I enable airplane and drop to 5g it loads fine so it’s definitely the WiFi signal.

We have a new beta update coming out soon which should be better. I would suggest resetting Bandwidth Allocation to default and experimenting with Congestion Control and Traffic Prio. 70% is a recommended starting point but may not be the best for everyone
