XR1000 v2 Low Speeds all of a sudden
For some reason I am getting low speeds now, we pay for 500/20 and when the router isn't hooked up it works fine since I just tested it separately before and after. I haven't changed any hardware bet...

Firmware: xr1000v2 1.1.0.22_2.1.34
Modem: Netgear Nighthawk CM2000
Yes the app speedtest is showing the same speeds as Fast, but as shown the router itself is saying otherwise.
I've done a power cycle last night and today just trying to test it again and it didn't matter. Besides the fact that it worked fine when it was just the modem anyway when I tested it.
The ethernet cables I'm using are the ones that came with the product/s. I'm using the black one going from the modem to the router, and the yellow one is going from my router to the PC. The yellow one worked fine when it was just the modem to my pc. I guess I could test the black one again on its own but it doesn't really make sense for that to be a problem when the ROUTER SPEED TEST is showing the correct speeds.
I feel like I have done a factory reset after the firmware update because I was already having different problems before.

You've set the download to 400 on the router so set that to 500. Then also provide a screenshot of the QoS page please - have you made any settings changes recently?

It was set to 400 since that was what we had previously and only recently did my ISP upgrade it to 500 but I didn't think that was really relevant anyway.
I don't use the QoS because whenever I tried to actually use it nothing seemed to change to make it be any kind of benefit. We hardly use any of the bandwidth given in the house at a given time so I seriously doubt the QoS would ever actually come into play which is why I've had it disabled.
The speed tests are basically showing 10 times less than the speeds we should be getting.- Netduma-FraserApr 11, 2025NetDuma PartnerOnce your images have been approved so I can see them I'll comment back
