Can someone explain lease obtained and lease expires on the dumaOS

The router provides local IP addresses to devices for a set period of time, in the case of the XR routers it can't be changed and lasts for 24 hours before it expires. The router may give the devices the same address or new ones it depends if there has been any more devices added etc.

After expiry the router may give the devices the same address or new ones it depends if there has been any more devices added etc. You can give static/reserved IP addresses instead if you want to and then the address will never change.
