XR500 Internet speed Problem

So today I bought the Nighthawk XR 500. I set it all up and thought I was good but the speeds on it were horrible. I was running faster speeds on my previous xfinity router. Ive seen these crazy speeds that this router can offer and im wondering how I can get those speeds. Im not too good at this network stuff so if anyone can explain to me how to make it better that would be amazing.

What FW is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?

What is the UP and Down speeds you should be seeing that you pay for? 


Are you wired or wireless when speed testing? Wired is preferred for speed testing.

What speeds do you get wired into your modem?


If you set Anti-Bufferbloat to 'Never' and rerun the test, do you get the same speeds?
