XR500 Speed tests
Recently I upgraded to 1Gbps internet speeds and while speed test on websites are hitting roughly around 900-930Mbps (which is typical of ISP's) when I do a connection benchmark within the XR500 router it only gets like 480-500 in its download speed test and 370 roughly for upload. Any particular reason for that?

Re: XR500 Speed tests
Because the integrated speedtest rarely chooses the best server.
I don't trust the integrated ones at speeds over 500mbps.

Re: XR500 Speed tests
Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the NightHawk Gaming Router products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with NH gaming router products and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this router forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

I see this as well on my XR450 with newest FW loaded:
I presume this is a speed test app issue though the speed reported in text is right but speed graph is not right:
Please use this link to the main forum product list to review and choose where to make your posts.

Thank you.
