XR500 afterwarranty service

Hello,

I'm looking for afterwarranty service for XR500 device - uboot is broken, device is working in switch mode, only usb2 led is lighting.

Where can I find list services that will be able to reprogram flash in Europe?

How did that happen? Your best bet is to use TFTP to try and upload the latest firmware and see if that resolves it https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP

I don't know (power light is not blinking)- there's no response on serial port (previously it was) = no hope for tftp

 

engineers designd this device very well - it has broken just after warranty. No after warranty service = when it's broken, there's no chance to save our planet from electroscrap.

For 1 year I was happy customer but now, I will avoid to purshase device s from Netgear - better to go for unbranded device for less than half price.

Have you tried the TFTP method at all?

hi

after reboot router

i have same problem only usb2 ligt on and light from connected ethernet cable .... router not booting no power light

try power off for 5 min and transfer image via tftp but not response from tftp ant help please ?

@mardock2009 a reboot caused this issue? How did you reboot it? Can you access the interface?

power light is off only usb2 light on interface down and tftp not working

I reboot from web interface after vpn stop working and newer bootup

You'll have to contact support by making a ticket or calling NG and they should be able to provide a replacement.
