Re: XR500 drops internet
Go to the Store and install the Xbox Insider Hub app.
Launch the app and accept the terms of use.
A new option will be displayed when you bring up the Power Menu by pressing and holding the Xbox button on a controller: ‘Report a problem’. Selecting the ‘Report a problem’ button will snap logs and launch the Xbox Insider Hub into a bug reporting flow. Within the app select ‘Add new problem’, then under Categories select ‘System and settings’, then ‘Network Settings and Issues’. Then type in a description and details and then submit the bug. Once that’s done, provide the gamertag that was signed in so I can provide it to the Xbox team member to pull the bug and logs.
Important: Make sure that the bug is filed shortly after the issue occurs and without the console being rebooted so that the networking logs are still present. Will need to know what the you did and when to get the console back on the network so they can line that up with the logs to get a clearer picture.

Re: XR500 drops internet
Just factory reset and installed the firmware update and still having the same issue as before. internet works, then disconnects from the internet. internal network and wifi works fine, but anything coming in from the wan stops working. i have no xbox or ps4 plugged in while i am doing these tests.
It's very annoying, should i return this and exchange it with a new unit?

Re: XR500 drops internet
I don't have anything else connected to it that does auto updates.
And yes I don't see this issue with other routers. I am forced to use my r7000 again and the internet has been solid everytime i use it. When i plug back in the rx500 the internet is up, then down, then up, then down. While it's down i plug in the r7000 again and the internet is up and stays up.

Re: XR500 drops internet
I haven't had a drop since 10/18 when I was sent the beta firmware. So far, so good. ooc - what was the problem that this fixed or rather, potentially fixed?

Re: XR500 drops internet
Two days in a row (after about 24 hours-ish) I've had a strange issue with the router where it seems to have limited internet, for example, I can't access 192.168.1.1 without rebooting?
Currently on V2.3.2.32

A Qualcomm issue with drivers, more than that I would not know and doubt Qualcomm would tell.

Re: XR500 drops internet
Is there a Beta version addressing this issue after V2.3.2.32 went live? I am having a ~1 / day disconnect from internet access. The wireless connection doesn't drop, just actual internet access. No issues direct to modem, no modem cycling, levels check out as well. Router lights also do not indicate that connection has dropped.

Also the thea you linked is re: the XR700, and the log doesn't indicate the ARP IPV6 issues mentioned there either.

Re: XR500 drops internet
I was wondering if any one else on the beta has stuttering while trying to view webpages. I tend to get alot of lag spikes while using the beta msn.com will load super fast and then next time i launch msn.com it takes a good 8-20 seconds to load.

Re: XR500 drops internet
That sounds like it could be a problem with your PC - perhaps a cache issue.
Easiest way to check is to use other devices (e.g. a phone). If it's working fine on there then it's almost certainly something with the device.
If it's happening on everything. then it could be the actual website. So try some others and see how they play out!

Re: XR500 drops internet
@Gingeg and @rougebaby - the next time you have a drop, could you check if your modem still has Internet? It might be an overall line issue, as I believe .32 solved almost all disconnection problems.
Also - are either you just experiencing this on an Xbox One? Or is this on other devices?
@Bobisbadat - perhaps make another thread - sounds like yours is quite specific so you won't want the conversation to be lost.

Re: XR500 drops internet
I am sorry but this is a horrible canned response!
.32 is NOT FIXING disconnect issues! A lot of us still have wireless INTERNET access, so no, it is NOT the modem. LAN ports PERMANENTLY disconnect until a reboot of the XR500, NOT the modem.
I feel like support here, picks and chooses what to read. .32 DOES NOT fix disconnect issues!
