XR500 not connecting to the Internet.
XR500 FW Version: V2.3.2.134
Modem: Motorola DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem MB8600
Very slow internet, rebooted, router would not connect to the Internet. Internet LED flashing red, no connection.
Rebooted, both Modem and Router, no change.
Connect computer directly through Ethernet to Modem. No issues. Connect to Internet just fine.
Rebooted Router, no change.
Factory reset Router, No issues, Connect to Internet through router just fine.
Updated to the latest FW again: V2.3.2.134
Back to square one: No Internet, Internet LED flashing red, no connection
Is there a FW version that is below 134 that works, somewhere? Something wrong with 134? Some setting that needs changed now that it's 134?

After upgrading the FW, had to reboot the modem again. Then everybody was happy in Ethernet IP land again. So in summary. "Nothing Changed" land after a Modem and Router reboot because of slow Internet. After everything came up, Router would not connect to "Modem" for Internet. Modem could see the Router connected, but , no Internet on Router. Direct Ethernet connection to Modem worked just fine. Factory reset Router. All came up just fine. Upgraded Router FW to latest V2.3.2.134 and symptom came back. No Internet on Router. Rebooted Modem again, and after it came up, IP address assigned to Router, and Internet connection on Router restored. Looked like Router did not want to get an IP address from Modem for some reason, and enough reboots, resets, reboots, later, it decided it would go ahead and accept one.

Re: XR500 not connecting to the Internet
After the modem is online with the XR If found that the XR needs another reboot to get an IP address correctly from the modem. Even a power off of the XR for 10 seconds then back ON should work as well.
