XR500

Can I connect my XR500 to my internet if I have DSL internet? If so could someone tell me how to do it. Please I’m struggling here.

the XR500 is a router only. Not a dsl modem.

so you'd first need a dsl modem.

then you'd want that device in passthrough/modem only mode.

And then you'd connect the xr500 to that.

many dsl modems include an integrated router. Its becoming rare to find just a dsl modem only.

Again, you'd want the router portion of the dsl device disabled or you'd run into double nat issues.

There shouldn't be much you need to change on the router, it should detect what is needed through the setup wizard, have you gone through the wizard?
