XR700, Duma 3.0

Well. I am guessing that the XR700 isn't getting anymore updates.
1) Duma 3.0 has been out for awhile now and crickets from Netgear.
2) XR700 is the only gaming router that isn't even listed on their website. https://www.netgear.com/home/online-gaming/#featureBlock
3) Reflects how poorly the XR700 hardware is, considering no updates/news have been made.
Do I now have to buy the XR1000? How long does that support last? I've maybe had the XR700 for 2 years and feels like support thinks im running an atrac.

Re: XR700, Duma 3.0
Any futher update on the XR700? Ever since the last one my attatched usb drive (Samsung T5) is not detected and I have tried everything I can think of. Rarely does everything on the router all work properly at the same time. I've had issues on and off since the day I bought it.

Re: XR700, Duma 3.0
Is the attached drive being used as NAS or are you using it for Plex functionality?
Was it being detected properly in the previous firmware? If so, did you factory reset after upgrading to the new firmware?

Re: XR700, Duma 3.0
Yes, the drive is just being used for plex and it has been detected before with no problems. I have tried both ports and nothing. The light will come on on the drive now but nothing. I take it out and plug it into my pc or another pc and detects right away.

OK, this is a Netgear feature so I may not be able to help (as a member of the Netduma team) but we'll do our best.
Could you send a screenshot of what you see under Settings > Plex Media Server.

Re: XR700, Duma 3.0
No changes. Plex and the drive had been working fine. I did do a complete reset of my router and started out fresh to see if that would solve the problem but it didn't. This is the current firmware on my router - Current Version: V1.0.1.38

Re: XR700, Duma 3.0
OK thank you, so is the drive just an external USB hard drive? Does it have a specific make and model that we can lookup?
Do you have any other drives that you can test with the XR700 to see if it'll detect those?
