Same problem here on a XR700. Setting the VPN config in the router to forward all traffice doesn't work on Tunnelblick on MacOS. Yes, I updated my config. Selecting "Auto" and using that config works just find but doesn't forward all traffic like I want. OpenVPN on android works just fine. I know it's not a DNS issue. Interestingly, going to http://whatip.me/ does show me an IPv6, but no IPv4 address.
Hi, do youm means, mac connect to XR700 as an vpn client, and want to search the internet? you you select auto, maybe the country you live will affect this feature. You'd better to choose internet and home. Do you set IPv6 wan in XR700 or not?
You're using openVPN server. while android openVPN client works but your macbook, might need to check whether config file IOT issue for your macOS (what's OS version?).
you may provide all related info to NTGR support team to fix your issue.
@thatmyles What type of setup are you running? Who is you ISP and what modem do you have connected to XR700? Also for the OpenVPN setup on Mac what error messages are you seeing on Tunnelblick logs? What is the MAC OS Version and Tunnelblick version you are running?
And then copied the contents of the downloaded files from the router (including the edited client.conf file) to a new folder and changed the extension to a .tblk as instructed here:
