XR700, Will a version come out with AX (WiFi 6)?
I like the physical port options on the XR700. If they changed the XR700 from AD to AX, it would be perfect.
If anyone working at Netgear sees this post, and can say if there will be a version with AX (WiFi 6), that would be music to my ears.

I don't work for Netgear but companies do not make a habit of revealing their plans for new products until they are ready to do so. You'll have to wait to see if they announce anything.

Most chip set Mfrs don't put in any future proofing in there chips. As they come out they are probably already at there desginated supporting HW. Theres just not a FW upate that will change this unless the HW is already in the chipset.

I believe in the near future, NTGR will have gaming version 11ax wifi routers. 🙂
