The Netgear routers don't require "branded" SFP+ modules, so the no-names on whatever code are commonly workable. At least this was the case on the (very similar) X10/R9000.

Thank you @Netduma-Fraser for the Kudo - now what if (the OP sent me a PM) an SFP+ is not recognized, or the user can't figure out how ot use the SFP+ on the XR700? Is there a shell access to check the Kernel output once an SFP+ module is plugged?
