Xbox Teredo ip address issues R8000
Hello, Basically I'm having issues with getting an Xbox Teredo ip address. I'm not at all knowledgeable about modems or routers. I'm trying to learn though because I keep having issues with gaming and would love to fix them eventually by myself. So please bare with me... I have no idea on how to make a static IP for myself or do port forwarding. I've tried but have no idea what I'm doing and I just want to be able to find a game. Any help would be incredibly grateful. Thanks.

Modem Combo Units:
This would be a double NAT condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the NG router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the NG router gets from the modem.
Please post about this here for your model router:

Good Luck.
