Xr500 Constantly rebooting !

hello

 

i bought Nighthawk XR500 about 9 months ago from newegg the router itself is great , amazing wi-fi range ,qos , geo filter and all other features are great but it is been constantly rebooting for no reason , i tried everything including rollingback on previous updates , change 2.4 and 5 Ghz channels and enable anti buffer bloat but unfortunately nothing seems to work it is keeping to reboot sometimes it doesn't reboot for a week then it would reboot 4 or 5 times in 1 hour

Sorry to hear you're having this issue, do you have the router plugged into a power extender by any chance? If so plug it directly into the wall and see if that resolves the issue.

What Firmware is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?

firmware version is V2.3.2.40

ISP modem is huawei hg8040h

Has anything changed in your setup or house (e.g. wiring) when the issue started?

no i didn't change anything 

the ISP gave me a bad router i used for the first month that was working perfectly fine without any interruptions but with the XR500 it started rebooting from the first day i bought although the internet itself is working

So it's been rebooting itself for 9 months? I'd suggest you make a ticket with Netgear here: http://support.netgear.com/ sounds like it could be faulty.

Might reset, manual download v32, factory reset and setup from scratch and see.

Do a reset before applying the FW update, then one after Step 6. "Wait for upgrade progress to complete." Set up from scratch by walking thru the setup wizard with a web browser.

Unfortunately the problem is still happening and i applied for a faulty product for more than THREE times and not a signal response
Worst company ever will never buy a netgear product again

They've likely just escalated it this week so will take time for Netgear to respond, hopefully the mods above can check for you.
