Not all manufacturer's bridge mode works properly. Try the modem in modem/router mode and put the netgear in AP mode. See if that works.

Check to make sure your cables are cat5e, cat6 or greater.
not just that they're seated.
What speed do you get directly off the modem/router?

to be honest i have no clue. My dad set up the wires all around years ago. We just dug through a box of old wires and found an ethernet cord to run through the floor to the basement into my xbox.
Also its weird, because on my pc testing through ethernet on speedtest.net or my isps speedtest yields about the same dl rate (92-95mbps)
however going into xbox's network settings and running a statistics test it says my download is 555mbps with 0% packet loss and 40 ping (plugged into nighthawk) havent tried docsis but maybe my pc's network part doesnt support 1000mbps?

hey i just looked at the wire and it says cat5 not cat5e. Should i probably invest in cat6/higher?

do i have to look at the back? or can I see through the windows settings/software?

im gonna run speedtests on every port i can, by the way, i bought this cord, i saw there was a video on how to strip them and connect your own connectors (the whole in the floor isnt big enough for those giant connector ends.)
