i have xifinity cox cable router. So i bought this nighthawk rx700 so i dont get ddos anymore from people when i play xbox. my question is how do i set it up? Do i remove my xfinity router or do i hard wire the Nighthawk into the xfinity router? I know its prolly a stupid question but im new to this so please show murcy lol!
Yes connect it directly to the Xfinity router. If you want to prevent being DDoSed then you will need to get a VPN subscription to use with the Hybrid VPN feature and then apply it to your console.
