   Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation.  Get the User Manual (at least).  Read.  Look for
"Manually Set Up the Internet Connection"?  Further reading might not
hurt, either.

   Note that your (unspecified) ISP may say "static", when actually DHCP
should be used to get your (fixed) IP parameters.  Ask your
(unspecified) ISP?
