xr500 xbox one
Ive never had Netgear issues. Ive had the r7000 for a while decided to upgrade to xr500. Wish i hadn't. First my wifi drops now on xboxs and TVs. Second my son on one Xbox one has problems connecting party chat fortnite now. Ping is horrible for the game. Tried many fixes. Nothing seems to work. This router is headache. Qos per device changes for ups and downs. Nothing has changed. Isp has not changed anything. Router is in same places as my r7000.

Your son should add his friends to his allow list so that he can connect to them regardless of his Geo-Filter settings.
What are your QoS/Geo-Filter settings?
