On the latest firmware: "Firmware Version 1.7.1.3"
Shortly after logging in I get an error message about not being able to register.
"REGISTRATION
An error occurred while accessing the registration server. Check your Internet connections, log off, and then log in again to register your product."
Of course I have already registered the device via a separate browser session directly to Netgear. Equally obviously yes I have filtering on my network blocking dial-home traffic like this. Why is there no feature like a check-box "I have already registered, bugger off!"? Is it not a bit lame that the device does not even consider that technology may exist to register outside of the box itself and just gives up after a few pre-set pop-ups?
