Netgear Nighthawk X6 R8000 using a nighthawk s8000

So yeah hi, I’m completely new to this and well I’d like to now what exactly does the s8000 switch does, I mean I’ve heard it kinda “boosts” the speed of your connection, I mean does that means if for example I have a 15mb/s WiFi it could increase that speed with the switch? And if I have a 50mb/s WiFi would it boost it to? What I’m asking is if that could increase my connection, make my WiFi faster? Please help hah

Afraid no (and noway!). The switch QoS system does allow assigning different port priorities only.
