Netgear Prosafe
GS105PE will not Supply power to access point port 1. Right light on port 1 is blinking green. Port 5 is connected to Netgear POE FS726TP and lights are both amber. Just upgraded firmware no change. Can someone assist. Thanks

Re: Netgear Prosafe
The link LED shows amber for Fast Ethernet (100MBase-T [or10MBase-T) Ethernet links - that's normal - because of the FS726TP is a Fast Ethernet switch only.
The very old FS726TP does supply only IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet - this does limit the power available on the two PoE ports, look here -> GS105PE: PoE troubleshooting.
Not many WLAN AP request just Class 1 (max 4.4W) or Class 2 (max 7.6W) - power is not sufficient most likeley.
