Nighthawk S8000 won't allow connection to admin page
I've been running into trouble recently with my Nighthawk S8000 network switch. For some reason, any attempt to connect to the admin page times out, whether through browser or through the Switch Discovery Tool. Additionally, Windows File Explorer (on W10) can't identify it as part of the network infrastructure, while the Switch Discovery Tool can. Totally at a loss as to what to do, since it just outright won't connect. Currently on firmware v1.7.1.0.

What modem/gateway do you have?
What router do you have it connected to?
Have you tried a simple factory reset/reinstall?

The IP address shown in the NSDT does fit you local LAN or VLAN IP subnetwork? With a switch on it's default address - in case the DHCP client wasn't able to get an IP address, the switch might default to a static IP outside of your local subnet. In that case, neither a browser or say the Windows UPnP SSDP won't be able to do anything useful.
