I have forgotten the password that was set on the switch when i first set it up - i have tried the reset button with the pin but when holding it for 2 or 3 seconds - then release the lights flash and goes off and back on again, at this moment i tried to enter default password but it would not work as it dont seem to have reset itself even though ive used the reset button via the pin. Any help would much appreciated

Don't know exactly why, however the How do I reset my GS808E Nighthawk S8000 Gaming & Streaming Switch to factory default settings? does talk of waiting several minutes without any connection.
