AX 6000 to ONT Netspeed

We are getting new internet through NetSpeed and they us fiber optic with a ONT.  Do we need any special equipment to hook up our AX 6000?

It depends on what this AX6000 is. That is a wifi speed designator and not a  model number. Some AX6000 devices are modem/routers others are straightforward routers.
