Devices won't connect even though Genie says Internet connected
Just purchased a RAX200 router and MC1150V cable modem. Nothing but problems trying to get connected up but I lose the connection after a few minutes then it comes back, over and over. No help from Netgear gurus.
Now the genie and computer shows I am connected but I cannot connect to the internet whatsoever. None of my 20 devices will connect either, even though they show that the internet is connected.

Is that the CM1150V?
A common issue when setting up new devices is that the user does not follow the correct sequence.
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
- Turn off and unplug modem.
- Turn off router and computers.
- Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it connect.
- Turn on computers and rest of network.
What do the LEDs on the router show? Particularly the Internet LED.
I assume that you have confirmed that the modem is connecting to the Internet – the router cannot get very far if you haven't confirmed that bit – and that you have activated the Internet service on it.

Perhaps because you didn't provide enough useful information. They'll need a bit more than "It doesn't work".
